Founder and President

James H. Smith is the Founder and President of R54Media, LLC. He first created and built J.H. Smith & Associates, a private business consulting and media firm, and later expanded that experience into R54Media, LLC. Today, he oversees all company operations and guides the firm’s mission, strategy, and client-focused growth systems.

James attended Missouri Western State College, where he studied computer science, psychology, and marketing. His business experience comes from decades of hands-on leadership, including founding and operating several businesses in insurance, printing, copier remanufacturing, computer building and networking, publishing, online ventures, and business consulting. He also served as Director of Advertising and Marketing for a state DMV department.

A veteran and former United States Army officer, James brings discipline, structure, and purpose to his leadership. He believes in doing things the right way and considers honor to be the highest virtue.

James is a father of four and grandfather of five. His interests include history, miniature gaming, and gardening. He is also involved with his church and community.
